Vehicles in Germany's Town Found Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Police reported they were notified by a man who found a car in Hanau covered with red-colored liquid

Approximately fifty vehicles have been marked with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's city of Hanau near Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Automobiles, walls and postal boxes were marked, occasionally with swastikas, they announced in a statement.

Officers state they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a resident observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish liquid.

The liquid had been placed in the form of a swastika, they reported.

Police then discovered many other smeared automobiles and house walls in the surrounding area.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under regulations prohibiting the visible presentation of symbols from the Nazi era.

Law enforcement say initial examinations indicate the fluid was likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no indication as to its origin; authorities are presently not aware of any injuries in association with the incident," they added.

Municipal representatives said they were attempting "to resolve the mystery" and have requested to the residents for information.

A high-ranking official stated the vandalism made him without words and needed to be addressed quickly.

"This event strikes at the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the extremist attack in 2020," he stated on social media, recalling the murder of nine victims by a gunman focusing on individuals of migrant background in 2020.
